Tequila G4 Añejo

Tequila G4 Añejo

Cinnamon cookie or psychological trick?

G4 Añejo had me second-guessing myself before I even poured it. I mean, it’s G4. Everyone talks about this brand like it’s the tequila world’s version of The Beatles. So yeah, maybe I was already primed to love it. But then… my nose actually showed up to work.

First sniff? Vegetal. Then boom—brown sugar and caramel like someone just torched a crème brûlée on a bed of roasted agave. It’s rich, warm, and oddly comforting.

On the palate: cooked agave front and center, with cinnamon and caramel trailing right behind. But then comes the magic—a long, lingering cinnamon-sugar cookie note that hangs around like it doesn’t want the night to end. Honestly, it’s kind of sweet without being sugary. Cozy without being soft. Like a firm hug from a friend who still lets you cry a little if needed.

Now look—I did have that weird voice in the back of my head saying, “You like this because it’s G4. You’re biased.” But even if I poured it blind, I’d still say this one’s damn good. Maybe not full-on fireworks, but definitely sparkler-worthy.

Añejo lovers, this one delivers. It’s well made, comforting, and leaves you with a warm finish—and a craving for actual cookies.
