Montagave Exploración Añejo Volume II

You ever take a sip of tequila and suddenly feel like you’re on a road trip through flavor town? Well, buckle up, because Montagave Exploración Añejo Volume II is like driving in circles around London, except instead of Big Ben and Parliament, it’s cooked agave and caramel.

Right from the start, the nose hits like I just walked into a bakery. Not one of those chain places with sad, day-old pastries, but a real, old-school bakery where warm cinnamon and caramel have been hanging out for generations, just waiting for you to notice them.

Then comes the first sip, cooked agave, cinnamon, caramel, and straight-up yumminess. But here’s the thing, this isn’t a one-and-done flavor bomb. Nope, each sip takes me down another road. I see the same landmarks—“Look, kids! Cooked agave! Cinnamon! Caramel!” But then… Wait, what is that? Is that raisin?! When did that get here?!

And just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, you take another sip and, boom, you’re back in the roundabout. “Look, kids! Cooked agave! Cinnamon! Caramel!” But wait… was that raisin?! When did that get here?!

This is really good. Montagave isn’t messing around with this series. They’re dialing it in, and it shows. Volume I was very good, Volume II is so yummy, and with Volume III on the way, I’m ready to gas up, grab my passport, and keep this journey going.
