Finally Up and Running… I Think

Well, here it is. After what feels like forever—and a battle of epic proportions—I think Sip Sip Ole is finally up and running. At least, I hope it is.

Creating a website seemed simple enough at first. But let’s be honest, I’m no computer whiz. HTML, CSS, plugins, widgets—might as well be speaking ancient Greek. And creativity? Not exactly my strongest suit either. I can tell you what tequila I like, but designing logos and choosing color schemes makes my head spin faster than a shot of Blanco on an empty stomach.

Luckily, my wife stepped in and created something pretty amazing, way better than anything I could’ve managed on my own. She has a knack for design, patience, and thankfully, a good sense of humor. But even with her creativity and my “helpful” suggestions, we eventually hit a wall.

Enter: “The Guy.” We finally admitted defeat and brought in a professional to drag us across the finish line. Hiring someone to do the heavy lifting was worth every penny. But, of course, my perfectionist tendencies wouldn’t let me rest easy. I’ve been constantly tweaking, adjusting, and changing the smallest details to get things “just right.” And honestly, that tweaking will probably never stop.

But for now, at long last, I’m at a point where I feel comfortable (well, mostly) diving into the fun stuff: daily tequila reviews, industry news, agave adventures, and all the tequila-infused ramblings I’ve been saving up.

So cheers to finally being up and running—or at least close enough to pretend I am. Stick around, pour yourself something tasty, and let’s get sipping.
