Hey there! I’m Steve Hart—husband, father, tequila enthusiast, and all-around spirits nerd. I’m 53, happily married to my best friend and 5th-grade sweetheart, Stacey, and together we have three amazing kids.
My journey into spirits kicked off about five years ago when bourbon stole my heart and nearly emptied my wallet. At one point, I had around 300 bottles. (Yes, seriously, and yes, I opened every single one.) But curiosity eventually got the better of me, and about three years ago, tequila knocked at my door. Honestly, I just wanted to discover what authentic tequila was really all about and why it had so many passionate fans.
At first, tequila and I didn’t exactly click. Not because it wasn’t great, but because I didn’t know what I was doing. Luckily, my neighbors became my tequila mentors and guided me toward enlightenment. Fast forward to today: I’ve got over 100 bottles, I’ve launched a tequila-focused website, and I’ve officially lost my mind, in the best way possible!

My reviews are simple—no sommelier here (I had to Google how to spell that). Sometimes my nose picks up something besides “tequila,” and I’m slowly getting better at tasting actual flavors. But honestly, it all comes down to whether I like it or not.
