Cabal Still Strength Blanco: A Mystery Wrapped in Agave and Fire

Cabal Still Strength Blanco doesn’t ease you in, it grabs you by the collar and lets you know you’re in for a ride. The first thing that smacks you in the face (in a good way) is that classic cooked agave, bold, rich, and exactly what you want from a high-proof Blanco.

Then comes the heat. Oh yeah, this one’s got a kick. If you’re the kind of person who thinks regular tequila is missing “a little something,” this bottle politely disagrees and serves up a full-throttle punch to the senses.

And then… there’s the aftertaste. It’s like tequila déjà vu, you know you’ve tasted something like it before, but your brain refuses to cooperate. Is it citrus? A little minerality? Something slightly herbal? I have no idea. It’s the tequila equivalent of forgetting why you walked into a room.

Is this the best tequila I’ve ever had? No. But is it good, bold, and fun to drink? Absolutely. If you like your tequila mysterious, fiery, and slightly confusing in the best way possible, Cabal Still Strength Blanco is worth a pour.
