Fuenteseca Reserva Extra Añejo 7-year (2014)

Now That’s How You Dance
This is the grown-up, glow-up version of the 5-Year—and man, what a difference two more years in a charred oak barrel can make. It’s like the 5-Year went away to finishing school, did some soul searching, and came back wearing a tux, fluent in smooth.
Cinnamon takes the lead again, but this time vanilla isn’t tripping over its own feet—it’s the perfect partner. The balance is there. The chemistry is on point. The finish? Long, elegant, and worthy of a standing ovation.
If this were on Dancing with the Stars, Bruno Tonioli would leap out of his chair, wave his arms like a caffeinated octopus, and shout:
“Fab-u-lous! What a performance! That was poetry in motion!”
There’s some oak, but it’s not overpowering—it’s more like the bass line in a great song. You feel it, it grounds everything, but it doesn’t steal the spotlight.
Bottom line? This bottle is sofa king good. Rich, warm, layered, and shockingly drinkable for something aged this long. If the 5-Year made you raise an eyebrow, the 7-Year will have you raising a glass—and then refilling it.
